About Flushnatu Ral
Flushnatu Ral is an independent editorial desk that compares fitness apps for readers in the United States. We do not sell any of these apps and we have no editorial tie to the companies behind them. The aim is plain: tell you what we found training with each one ourselves, the way a paying member would.
How we work
For every app in the ranking we pay full price and use it for at least three weeks, from the beginner sessions through to the harder blocks. We compare programs, plans and how the app feels in the gym, convert every price into real dollars, and note what equipment each program assumes. Only then does an app get a score. We do not lift descriptions from a landing page, and a company cannot pay for a better place in the table.
How we are funded
Affiliate links pay for the site. If you subscribe through one of our links, the company may pay us a commission, at no extra cost to you. This does not move the ranking; an app only climbs if it performs better in our testing. Where a link is an affiliate link, we treat it the same as any other and keep the scoring separate from it.
The desk
Reese Calderwood
Lead Analyst
Reese has covered training apps and home fitness gear for the best part of a decade and keeps a live subscription on every service we recommend. The testing runs out of a home setup in Austin, across coached plans, a free class library, a workout logger and a wall-mounted machine, to judge how each one holds up over weeks rather than a first impression.
